Product Description

 Zoll PD 2000 Defibrillator

AJANTA EXPORT INDUSTRIES  are manufacturer, supplier and Exporter of  Zoll PD 2000.The ZOLL PD 2000 Advisory Defibrillator/Pacemaker is the first device designed as a completely integrated system for early defibrillation and advanced cardiac life support in the hospital. The built-in ventricular fibrillation detection system eliminates adapters and a "paddle free" electrode system is easily applied to speed shock delivery and external pacing. Standardized controls make it ideal for the hospital planning implementation of early defibrillation to improve outcomes from cardiac arrest. This small and lightweight unit is the most versatile hospital defibrillation system available today. The PD 2000 is equally suited for general floor use by noncritical care BLS trained staff and ACLS code teams for defibrillation, external pacing and transport. New state-of-the-art modular AC power and rapid battery recharging allow the PD 2000 to meet the needs of every hospital area. Its easily exchangeable low cost lead acid battery system provides unequaled crash-cart up time and improved quality in device maintenance and readiness. No other unit provides a hospital with the inherent flexibility of the ZOLL PD 2000 Advisory Defibrillator/Pacemaker.

Advanced Energy Selectivity and Safety

The PD 2000 offers selectable defibrillation energy from 2 to 360 Joules, suitable for both adults and children. Its biphasic waveform ensures effective cardiac resuscitation with less risk of injury. Integrated audio and visual alarms provide instant alerts, maximizing safety during emergencies.

Versatile Monitoring and Recording

Equipped with a clear LCD display and 3-lead or paddle ECG monitoring, the PD 2000 allows real-time heart rhythm analysis. The built-in strip recorder documents events, supporting comprehensive patient care and post-event review. Data storage capabilities allow for easy access to event histories.

Portability and Rapid Response

Weighing just 5-7 kg and operating reliably across 0C to 40C, this defibrillator is highly portable and suitable for use in challenging hospital and emergency environments. It charges to maximum energy in less than 5 seconds and provides up to 2 hours of operation on its internal battery.

FAQ's of Zoll PD 2000 Defibrillator:

Q: How is the defibrillation energy adjusted on the Zoll PD 2000 Defibrillator?

A: The energy level can be easily selected between 2 and 360 Joules using the device's controls, ensuring tailored therapy for adults or pediatric patients. The selection can be done prior to defibrillation to match the specific resuscitation protocol.

Q: What benefits does the integrated ECG monitoring and strip recorder offer?

A: The integrated LCD display and 3-lead ECG or paddle monitoring provide real-time cardiac rhythm analysis, while the strip recorder documents each event, facilitating immediate decision-making and comprehensive record keeping for patient care and review.

Q: When should the internal battery be checked or replaced?

A: It is recommended to check the battery status regularly as part of routine equipment checks. The typical battery provides 2 hours of continuous operation; replace the battery according to manufacturer's guidelines or when standby time decreases noticeably.

Q: Where can the Zoll PD 2000 Defibrillator be most effectively used?

A: This device is designed primarily for hospitals and emergency settings. Its portability, robust construction, and ability to operate under a range of temperatures make it well-suited for ambulances, critical care units, and other demanding healthcare environments.

Q: What process should be followed if an alarm sounds during use?

A: If an audio or visual alarm is triggered, promptly check the device display and follow the indicated prompts. The alarms indicate critical parameters such as energy selection errors, lead disconnects, or operational issues that require attention before proceeding.

Q: How does the PD 2000 support both manual and automatic operation?

A: The defibrillator can be operated manually by healthcare professionals or set to automatic mode, adjusting processes such as energy selection and charging. This dual functionality ensures flexibility for various clinical situations and user preferences.

Q: What is the advantage of the synchronous and asynchronous modes?

A: Synchronous mode allows the defibrillator to deliver shocks in synchronization with the cardiac cycle, crucial for certain arrhythmias. Asynchronous mode enables immediate shock delivery irrespective of the heart rhythm, ensuring prompt action during cardiac arrest.
