Product Description

Radical Forensic Comparison Microscope were developed about four decades ago in consultation with the leading Scientists and Criminologists of world repute, thereafter The instruments are being continually updated. Comparison Microscope are the most advanced & versatile instruments invented for comparative Micro study in Forensic Science, geology, Metallurgy, Mineralogy, Crystallography and Chemical Microscopy . By means of this sophisticated instrument, two micro samples can be studied under one Eye. It combines the latest Up to-mechanical developments in light microscopy.

This instrument consist of two microscopes & their split images can be viewed simultaneously, with The image from one being on the left side & the other image on the right side. This Microscope can Also compare fibre, hair, bullets, paint fragments under the same lighting conditions & magnification.

Both the Microscope, having their own illuminations, quadruple revolving nose pieces, coarse and Fine motion knobs, 120mm x 120mm stages, are mounted upon a heavy built-in light base. Leveling Screws are provided to ensure their exact alignment. Transmitted illumination for transparent objects, Incident light for opaque objects and spot lamps for papers are provided for different applications. The comparison bridge brings both the beam paths together and two images of object under Examination, separated by a thin line are observed side by side in the field of view through a Monocular tube.

Standard comparison Microscope are available with Magnification from 20x to 600x having following optical Combination:
Achromatic Objectives : 4x, 10x and 40x SL
Huy. Eyepieces : Wf10x, H15x, H10x micro And H5x cross.
All paired objectives are flat field, strain free and having Anti- reflection coating.
The Microscope is supplied with a special vice type Mechanical stages to hold objects like bullets, coins, Industrial materials etc. and another plate to hold Materials like currency notes, cartons, stamps, finger Prints etc.
Total Weight : 45kg.
Size of cases : 46x42x45cm. & 57x41x26 cm.
Optional Accessories: Photo micro graphic Attachment Projection Screen Attachment, Semi Plan Objectives 2.5x, 20x, 60x, & Oil Immersion 100x, Spare Eyepieces, USB Camera with Necessary software etc.

FAQ's of Forensic Comparison Microscope :

Q: How does the X-Y mechanical stage benefit forensic comparisons?

A: The X-Y mechanical stage, featuring a smooth travel range of 75 x 50 mm, lets users accurately position and traverse evidence samples side-by-side. This precision movement helps experts examine subtle differences or similarities between samples, such as tool marks or fiber characteristics, enhancing the reliability of forensic analysis.

Q: What digital camera features are included, and how do they support image documentation?

A: The built-in high-sensitivity digital imaging sensor supports image resolutions up to 20 megapixels and Full HD 1080p video recording. It enables real-time live streaming, still image capture in various formats (JPEG, BMP, TIFF, PNG), and direct data transfer via USB, HDMI, or SD card, streamlining documentation and sharing during forensic investigations.

Q: When is this microscope most effectively used in research or forensic settings?

A: This forensic comparison microscope excels in high-precision environments such as fingerprint, fiber, ballistic, or trace evidence analysis. Its robust construction and accurate optics make it suitable for crime laboratories, industrial materials testing, and educational institutions focused on forensic research.

Q: Where can the microscope's ergonomic features enhance daily use?

A: The inclined, rotatable eyepiece tube and adjustable interpupillary distance (55 mm-75 mm) provide a comfortable viewing posture. These ergonomic details reduce eye strain and fatigue, improving user performance during prolonged sessions in laboratory or industrial workspaces.

Q: What is the process for integrating this microscope with forensic analysis software?

A: The system connects to computers via USB or HDMI and is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS. Simply install the included measurement and analysis software, connect the microscope, and users can capture, annotate, and compare forensic images directly within the application, streamlining workflow and reporting.

Q: How does the illumination system enhance sample visualization?

A: Adjustable high-intensity LED and halogen lamps, offering transmitted and incident light, provide optimal illumination for a variety of sample types. Coupled with an Abbe condenser (NA 1.25, iris diaphragm), these features ensure clear, well-balanced images across all magnification levels in diverse environments.

Q: What are the key benefits of using this microscope in forensic analysis?

A: Key benefits include precise sample positioning, high-resolution split/merged image comparison, real-time HD imaging, ergonomic design for user comfort, anti-fungal optics for durability, and comprehensive compatibility with forensic software.
