Product Description
The Advanced, Research Polarizing Microscope is unquestionably research grade and is recommended for all polarizing and petrographic applications. We are, therefore, confident that we have a truly professional polarizing microscope that meets, and indeed surpasses the quality of some of the competing microscopes from Japan. The OM349P different iatesit self from the OM339P through superior optics and an advanced Analyzer, along with modern design and an extremely high level of build quality. We have yet to see a comparable price/performance equation. Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Optics
The microscope head is trinocular and includes a C/CS mount attachment for cameras. A full set of high quality strain-free Plan chromatic objectives (PL4x, PL10x, PL40xS, PL100xS are included, mountedin a quadruple, click stop nose piece.Paired with the standard WF 10X eyepieces, these provide magnifications at 40X, 100X, 400X, and 1000X.
Polarizing System
The high-quality primary Polarizer is rotatable 360° on the condenser and has the added convenience of click stops. The advanced Analyzer in the optic path provides specific cross-polarization through the full 90° quadrant. Also included are a set of high quality compensators for advanced polarized polarized observation, including gypsum full wavelength,Quartz wedge, and Mica ¼ wave types. A center-adjustable Bertrand lens is also included for conoscopic observation.
Stage & Focus
The circular mechanical stage is 150mm in diameter rotatable through 360 and is graduated in 1 °: increments. It is center able and can be locked down into position. Focus is ambidextrous via convenient coaxial coarse/fine focus controls.
Condenser & illumination
The condenser is Abbe 1.30 N.A . Universal AC voltage(85V-265V) powers 6V 30W transmitted illumination for crisp bright images.
