FAQ's of Tube Furnace 1600 Deg C:
Q: How do I select the appropriate tube material for my process?
A: The furnace is available with high alumina or quartz tubes based on your application. High alumina is ideal for high-temperature and chemically reactive environments, while quartz is preferred for processes requiring transparency and lower contamination. Specify your needs when ordering.
Q: What is the procedure for setting up atmosphere control?
A: This furnace comes with gas inlet and outlet ports, allowing you to introduce and exhaust gases as needed for atmosphere control. Connect the relevant gas lines securely and adjust flow rates according to your experimental protocol for processes like inert, vacuum, or reactive gas heating.
Q: When should I program the timer function, and how does it benefit my experiments?
A: The programmable timer, adjustable up to 9999 minutes, should be used when you require the furnace to run heating cycles without continuous supervision. This ensures process repeatability and efficient time management, especially during prolonged heat treatments or material synthesis protocols.
Q: What is the recommended usage environment for this furnace?
A: For optimal performance and safety, operate the furnace in environments with ambient temperatures up to 40C and relative humidity less than 80%. This prevents condensation and ensures electronic and insulation integrity, extending the furnace's operational life.
Q: Where can I install the Tube Furnace 1600C in my laboratory?
A: Install the furnace on a stable, heat-resistant surface with adequate clearance for ventilation (introducing ambient air for cooling). The system's compact dimensions (650 x 400 x 500 mm) support easy placement in standard laboratory settings.
Q: How does over temperature protection enhance operational safety?
A: The integrated over temperature protection system automatically shuts down the furnace if it detects potentially unsafe temperature levels. This feature prevents overheating, protecting both samples and the equipment from damage, and supports safe, routine laboratory operation.
