The setup is designed to study the discharge through different orifice & mouthpiece. Set up consists of an adjustable head constant level tank, supply tank, measuring tank and pump for closed loop water circulation. The constant level tank is fitted with arrangement for creating jet using different interchangeable orifice and mouthpiece. A hook/pointer gauge for measuring x-y coordinates of jet is also fitted.
The flow rate of water is measured using measuring tank and stop watch provided
