Product Description
MCT BOX
MCT Boxes are moulded in polycarbonate and are therefore strong as well as autoclavable. One size can hold 64 MCTs of 1.5 ml. & the other can hold 100 MCTs of 0.5 ml.. These boxes are designed to work at 0 0 temperatures ranging from -190 C to +121 C. The transparent cover provides a good view of the contents inside & is numbered for better inventory control.

Advanced Safety and EfficiencyEquipped with overheat protection and a digital temperature controller, the MCT BOX safeguards your laboratory work and maintains precise results. The double wall insulation with glass wool aids in energy-efficient operation while keeping external surfaces cool to touch.
Robust and User-friendly DesignThis box comes with a corrosion-resistant, leak-proof build and a stainless steel hinged lid for effortless access. Six borosilicate glass beakers are included, supporting a capacity of up to 35 liters, making it practical for multiple concurrent samples.
Versatile Magnetic Stirring MechanismThe manual adjustable magnetic stirring facilitates uniform mixing of solutions within the jars-essential for consistent tissue processing. The stirring process can be precisely controlled to suit various laboratory protocols, ensuring reliable experimental outcomes.
FAQ's of MCT BOX:
Q: How does the magnetic stirring in the MCT BOX operate?
A: The magnetic stirring is manually adjustable, allowing users to control the speed and intensity of the stir within each borosilicate glass jar. This provides uniform agitation, which is crucial for even tissue processing.
Q: What materials are used in the construction of the MCT BOX?
A: The MCT BOX is constructed from corrosion-resistant SS304 stainless steel, robust plastic components, and features borosilicate glass beakers for durability and safe chemical handling.
Q: When is the MCT BOX with stainless steel lid most beneficial to use?
A: It is especially useful during laboratory tissue processing tasks requiring controlled temperatures and uniform sample mixing, particularly in medical, forensic, or academic research settings.
Q: Where can the MCT BOX be installed and operated?
A: Designed for laboratory environments, the MCT BOX operates best in ambient temperatures between 5C and 40C. It is suitable for medical colleges, forensic labs, academic institutes, and research laboratories.
Q: What is the process for cleaning and maintaining the MCT BOX?
A: Thanks to its easy-to-clean, corrosion-resistant structure and leak-proof design, maintenance requires routine external wiping and careful jar handling. All components can be accessed via the hinged lid for thorough cleaning after each use.
Q: What are the main benefits of using this MCT BOX model?
A: Key benefits include precise digital temperature control (1C), uniform heating, overheat protection, double wall insulation for energy efficiency, and the capacity to process multiple tissue samples simultaneously.
