FAQ's of Heavy Duty Centrifuge:
Q: How does the swing-out rotor benefit laboratory applications?
A: A swing-out rotor ensures even separation by allowing tubes to move to a horizontal position during spinning. This results in uniform sedimentation of samples, which is especially beneficial for procedures that require precise layering or separation, such as blood processing or cell fractionation.
Q: What safety features are included in this centrifuge and how do they operate?
A: This centrifuge is equipped with a lid interlock system that prevents the lid from being opened while the rotor is spinning, and an imbalance detection feature, which automatically shuts down operation if uneven loading or vibration is detected. Both features prioritize user safety and protect the equipment from damage.
Q: When should the centrifuge's timer be utilized and what is its range?
A: The timer is ideal for procedures that require specific spin durations. It can be set from 1 up to 99 minutes using the digital control panel, ensuring process consistency and freeing up time for other laboratory tasks during operation.
Q: Where should this heavy duty centrifuge be installed for optimal performance?
A: This bench top centrifuge should be placed on a stable, flat surface with sufficient clearance around it for ventilation and safe access. It is suitable for laboratories, industrial settings, or medical facilities where high-capacity sample centrifugation is frequently needed.
Q: What processes is this centrifuge suitable for in laboratory and industrial settings?
A: It is suitable for processes requiring efficient separation of liquids and solids or different liquid phases, such as blood component separation, cell harvesting, sample clarification, and industrial quality control analyses. Its heavy-duty construction and digital accuracy make it adaptable for various demanding procedures.
Q: How is noise managed during operation?
A: The centrifuge is engineered to operate at noise levels below 65 dB, ensuring a quieter laboratory environment. Smooth operation and well-balanced construction further minimize vibrations, allowing comfortable use even during extended runs.
Q: What are the primary benefits of using this centrifuge in medical and industrial laboratories?
A: Key benefits include high capacity (4 x 400 ml vessels), precise digital control, robust safety features, rust-proof durability, and smooth, low-noise operation. These advantages together support efficient workflow, specimen integrity, and user safety.
