Product Description
Concrete Permeability Apparatus
High pressure permeability test are conducted on various sizes of specimens by different cells. Herein, Cell is available with a top plate and funnel fitted at the bottom that comprises gasket seals held in position by various nuts &bolts.
The concrete specimens are sealed inside the cell to avoid any leakage beside the side walls. Each unit is available with test . As a result, pressure can be applied using any available pressure line at the compressor or site. It can be supplied without compressor and glass bottles. The various models available with us are

FAQ's of Concrete Permeability Apparatus:
Q: How is the Concrete Permeability Apparatus operated?
A: The apparatus is manually operated, requiring no external electrical power. Users control pressure and water flow through the manual control panel, pressure regulator, and leak-proof valves for precise permeability testing.
Q: What benefits do the included accessories provide?
A: Rubber gaskets, pressure pipes, and water collection tubes are included to ensure airtight seals, safe pressure delivery, and efficient water collection during tests, supporting accurate, leak-free operation.
Q: When should this apparatus be used in concrete testing?
A: It should be used during laboratory evaluations of cement permeability in concrete specimens, especially in quality control or research, in line with IS:3085 and ASTM C1202 standards.
Q: Where should the apparatus be installed?
A: The device is designed for bench mounting in laboratories, providing a stable platform and easy access for test setup and monitoring.
Q: What is the testing process with this apparatus?
A: Specimens are placed into the gunmetal chamber, sealed with neoprene gaskets. Water is introduced under regulated pressure (up to 15 kg/cm2), and the water permeating each specimen is collected and measured via included tubes.
Q: How does the apparatus ensure safety during operation?
A: Safety is achieved through a mounted pressure relief valve, which automatically releases excess pressure, and an oil-filled Bourdon pressure gauge for accurate monitoring.
Q: What advantages does powder coating and corrosion resistance offer?
A: The powder-coated, mild steel construction and corrosion-resistant finish enhance durability, minimize maintenance, and extend the apparatus's service life in demanding laboratory environments.
