Product Description
Centrifuge Extractor (Manually)
Centrifuge Extractor (Manually) Instrument is used for determination and checking of Bitumen percentage in Bituminous mix, the mix is added with a solvent and dissolved bitumen is removed by centrifugal action. Consists of a removable Aluminum rotor bowl, Capacity 1500 gms. With a cap and tightening nut. Centrifuge Extractor (Manually) bowl assembly is mounted on a vertical shaft, which protrudes from a cast housing. Centrifuge Extractor (Manually) shaft and thus the bowl is rotated fast manually by enclosed gears in the cast body and handle. Solvent is introduced during the test through the holes in the cap of the housing. Centrifuge Extractor (Manually) drain is provided to collect dissolved Bitumen coming out of the rotating bowl and getting collected in the housing.
Efficient Manual OperationDesigned with a user-friendly crank mechanism, this hand-operated centrifuge extractor delivers reliable performance without dependence on electrical automation. Its manual design ensures consistent results while allowing users direct control over the extraction process, ideal for laboratory applications with specialized requirements.
Rugged and Safe ConstructionBuilt with a sturdy cast iron or mild steel body and a cast aluminum container, the extractor withstands demanding laboratory environments. Safety features like a lockable lid and safety cover over the rotating bowl prioritize user protection, while the integrated discharge valve allows easy and spill-free removal of extracted liquids.
Tailored for Bitumen TestingSpecially developed for determining bitumen content in bituminous mixtures, this device is indispensable for civil engineering and road construction quality control. Its ability to safely accommodate common solvents ensures reliable sample preparation and accurate analytical results in compliance with testing standards.
