FAQ's of ASPIRATOR BOTTLES:
Q: How can the aspirator bottles be used for dispensing laboratory liquids?
A: The aspirator bottles are fitted with a manual outlet valve (stopcock) made from PTFE or glass, enabling precise and controlled dispensing of laboratory liquids. The wide mouth design further makes filling and pouring easy and spill-free.
Q: What makes these aspirator bottles suitable for handling chemicals?
A: Constructed from chemical-resistant borosilicate glass or plastic, these bottles are highly durable against acids, alkalis, and most laboratory reagents. They are engineered to withstand both impacts and thermal shock, offering reliable long-term use.
Q: When is it necessary to choose clear versus amber bottles?
A: Clear bottles are ideal when full visibility of the contents is needed, while amber bottles offer additional protection for light-sensitive chemicals, helping to prevent degradation during storage and dispensing.
Q: Where can these bottles be used in a laboratory setting?
A: They are suitable for a wide range of laboratory environments, including research, pharmaceutical, and industrial labs-anywhere the safe storage and precise dispensing of liquids is required.
Q: What process is recommended for cleaning and sterilizing the bottles?
A: The bottles are autoclavable, allowing for effective sterilization via autoclave cycles. Routine cleaning can be performed with standard lab detergents and brushes due to the wide neck, ensuring thorough cleaning and preventing residue build-up.
Q: What are the benefits of the graduated markings and leak-proof design?
A: Graduated markings provide accurate measurement, essential for laboratory protocols. The leak-proof screw cap or fitted bung ensures safe storage and transport of liquids, minimizing risks of spills or contamination.
Q: How do these bottles comply with safety and quality standards?
A: All bottles meet ISO and ASTM regulatory requirements, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and performance as demanded by modern laboratory applications.
